2025 is off to a busy start for Surewood Shafts, it seems the new Wood Arrow Longbow Division at the Lancaster Classic has created increased demand for lighter to midweight spine shafts. Of course, the timing of this happens to align with finally exhausting our supply from the famous Ollalie log, that produced lots and lots of beautiful shafts, mostly 35-40 to 45-50. We are purchasing logs and working up some seasoned stock in the hopes of soon filling this gap in the inventory.

We are listing more inventory every few days, but it is going fast. With the increase in customers emailing in pre-orders (pay up front, 1-3 week turnaround), it keeps some inventory from ever getting listed here on the online store. For that reason we will be launching a pre-order submission form here on the online store very soon.

We are also getting more request for custom tapering, mainly tail tapering 5/16" hafts to 9/32', and even 1/4". We just launched a new page offering various custom tapering options. It is under construction, but should allow customers to add custom tapering to their order.
